New! Tidal Wave Bay at Kings Island!
Highlighting the new attractions in Soak City, a $10 million expansion of Kings Island’s existing waterpark, is Tidal Wave Bay – a massive 650,000-gallon wave pool.
Currently under construction, Tidal Wave Bay will be where visitors to Kings Island head for the best surf in the region. Here is where guests can bask in the sun when the waves are “off” and shoot the curl when the more than four-foot high breakers start rolling in.
Other exciting new attractions and amenities in Soak City include an action river, new entrance, sand volleyball court and more lounging. Soak City opens May 26 and is included free with park admission.

MASON — Kings Island celebrates 40 years of fun and frivolity when its 2012 season kicks off on April 28.
When the amusement park first opened in April 1972, 7,000 guests frequented the amusement park. By the end of that first season, the park had set an industry record by playing host to more than 2 million guests, according to the park.
Since then, more than 120 million visitors have experienced the park’s world-class rides, shows and attractions, according to park officials.
The now 364-acre park released a commemorative logo for its 40th season and is also celebrating the grand opening of the new Soak City Waterpark on May 26. Admission to the waterpark is free with admission to the amusement park.
Kings Island is also interviewing candidates to fill positions in all areas of park operations for the 2012 season, including admissions, call center, entertainment, food and beverage, fire and safety, games, guest services, lifeguards, merchandise, rides, and security.

This 40th Anniversary season features three new live stage shows you won't want to miss. "Yesterday Once More: The 70's!" is a song and dance revue featuring classic songs from the decade Kings Island was born. "British Invasion" features the songs of The Beatles, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Queen and many others. For kids and families, there's Charlie Brown's All-Stars.

Dinosaurs Alive!
Step back in time to periods between 245 million and 65 million years ago in the world's largest animatronic dinosaur park. DINOSAURS ALIVE! at Kings Island features more than 60 life-sized dinosaurs in a 12.5-acre Jurassic forest setting. There is an additional $5 per person cost for Dinosaurs Alive!

Park & Concert Hours:
Kings Island will be open from 10 am to 10 pm all three days of SpiritSong. SpiritSong performances will begin in the early evening on Thursday and the late afternoon on Friday and Saturday. Performances may run past park hours.
Seating:
All performances take place in the Timberwolf Amphitheatre. Timberwolf has theatre-style, outdoor seating. Seating is reserved. Event is held rain or shine.
Food, Drinks & Parking:
Food and drinks of all types will be available for purchase in the park. Onsite parking is available for a nominal $12 per vehicle charge.
Christian Retail Area:
Various Christian retailers will be selling merchandise during the festival including books, jewelry and clothing. The booths will be located in the Timberwolf
Amphitheatre Plaza.
