Jacob Lewis(singer/guitarist)and I have been playing guitar together in the contemporary praise band at our church for about two years now. Jake and I along with some of the other members of our praise band and youth group tried to start a summer worship series geared towards junior high and high-school-aged youth. I felt called to write a few songs for these kids because I didn't want them to lose sight of God like I did in at that age, and God gave us the words. Unfortunately, the series never got off the ground. But through this experience, God has brought us closer together and he's allowed for us to grow as Christians, musicians, and friends. We are currently between bands at the moment, which is why we submitted an acoustic duet. I'm really not sure what genre to classify our work in, but it's very much in the realm of bands like Unspoken and Tenth Avenue North.
