Redview
Redview is a local church's houseband and stand-alone Christian rock/worship group. With their self-produced album slated to release later this year, they are on fire to share their original worship music with anyone and everyone! The band's name comes out of the idea that we all should have a view of life based on the Bible's 'words written in red'... those spoken by Jesus himself. The band's sound is a mix of rock and worship wrapped with a hint of folk - 3-person harmonies, drum solos, and mesmerizing guitar work make this band's personification of God's Word incredibly strong and interesting.
With all 6 members having grown up in Warren County, they found each other by way of school, other bands, or church fellowship. Lead singer/guitarist Ben Fisher also acts as recording producer with his education from Florida's Full Sail University, and is the Worship Leader at the band's Echo Church. Behind the drums is Kevin Lyons, a bandmate of Ben's since the 5th grade. His intuitive, high-energy percussion skills are what make him a unique artist. Thumping out the bass guitar is Zach Wasson, who was Kevin's former bandmate in a high school ska band. Having recently switched from rhythm guitar to bass guitar, fellow musicians praise his ability to 'not play the bass like a guitarist'! Perched behind rhythm guitar is Dale Carpenter, who came into the fold after attending church for a number of years with Zach and Kevin. On keyboard and vocals is Makenna Davenport of the locally-known 'Makenna & Shelby' country duo. Ben, Kevin, and Zach have all played for her in the country genre. Having studied music and songwriting at Nashville's Belmont University, her voice and creative intuition is unmatched for someone in their early 20's. And rounding out the band is Hannah Kelling who started with her fellow bandmates leading worship at The Park Church in Hamilton Township years ago. Her operatic voice paired with the other vocalists of Redview make for beautiful harmonies and an amazing worship experience!
Getting to play on a large stage in their hometown would be the perfect way to continue their goal of sharing relatable worship music with listeners of all ages. Their message is applicable, their sound is universal, and their God is eternal. #redview
