The Brown Mollies
It all started when Kentucky met Texas...
The Brown Mollies were born from the union of Erika, a native Kentuckian, and Cody, a proud Texan. After spending some time in Austin, they relocated back to their old stomping grounds of Louisville to share their distinctive take on the acoustic folk music of America.
The Brown Mollies are an acoustic Americana duo out of Louisville, Kentucky. Erika plays the Tenor Banjo and Cody plays the Octave Mandolin and French Harp, amongst other instruments; both partners share in the singing. Together, their music stands with one foot firmly planted in tradition, and the other stomping a beat to their own drum. From songs of love lost and love won to the sacred harmonies of hymns, their original compositions and adaptations of old time tunes will catch your ear from the first notes.
The Brown Mollies' newest LP, Unsinkable, is now available for streaming and download.
